John 13:34 ‘A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 13:35 ‘By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.’
As Christians we may wish to be known by our morality, our denomination, our values for life, our music, culture, dedication, excitement, but Jesus says that its love that will define us as followers, as disciples of His.
Paul describes love in the famous chapter 1 Corinthians 13.
Patient. No matter how we are treated, love is slow to anger. This is a sign of strength, not weakness.
