Attitude is everything. In this verse from Proverbs, Solomon admonished us to guard our hearts our inner attitudes, diligently because all the issues of life spring from that source. 

We are not engineered, emotionally, mentally or spiritually to live for ourselves. This will leave us empty of purpose and meaning. And we feel it! Deeply.

'...thanks are the highest form of thought and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.’

We need to take advantage of this time of year to stop, reboot and upgrade.
